The 4th International Conference of DCBM witnessed a momentous occasion – the inauguration of the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Corner. This dedicated space, founded on the three pillars of Gyan (Knowledge), Vigyan (Science), and Jeevan Shastra (Philosophy of Life), is a remarkable realization of DCBM’s vision for a holistic and value-based education. Aligning perfectly with the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the IKS Corner emphasizes the importance of integrating Indian Knowledge Systems into the curriculum, fostering a deeper understanding of our rich heritage and its relevance in the modern world.
The inauguration was a vibrant affair. In a beautifully curated traditional setting, talented DCBM students presented a captivating display of Indian culture, showcasing its diverse facets through art, music, dance, and engaging exhibits. A captivating video display further enriched the experience, highlighting the significance of IKS in shaping well-rounded individuals.
From ancient management principles like “Arthashastra” to the emphasis on ethical and sustainable practices found in Indian philosophies, the IKS Corner demonstrated the valuable insights that can be drawn from our past. This initiative not only enriches the academic experience but also equips students with a unique perspective, enabling them to become responsible and ethical leaders in the globalized business world.
DCBM’s 4th International Conference saw some incredible talent showcased in our poster presentation competition! The theme of AI, Digitization, and IKS brought forth innovative ideas and insightful research. Our 4th International Conference was a resounding success! We had 5 insightful technical sessions where over 100 delegates presented their cutting-edge research papers with valuable insights provided by our 10 dedicated session chairs. It was an incredible opportunity for learning and exchanging ideas with brilliant minds from around the globe.
